Job summary

Yeow Jih Industries Sdn. Bhd. seeks a Technical Supervisor/Technical Leader to oversee maintenance and technical activities at customers' factories, ensuring equipment operates safely and with minimal downtime.

The role requires a Diploma or Degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, 5+ years in a supervisory engineering role, and proficiency in AutoCAD, with strong leadership and multilingual communication.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in a technical supervisory or leadership role within engineering or manufacturing.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and able to read technical drawings.
• Experience with site inspections, maintenance planning, and troubleshooting.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Multilingual: Bahasa Malaysia, English, and Mandarin for international partners.
• Knowledge of safety, quality, and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily maintenance work by the technical team.
• Develop preventive maintenance schedules and oversee repair work.
• Diagnose technical issues and support troubleshooting activities.
• Conduct site inspections and attend site meetings when required.
• Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements.
• Provide technical guidance and training to the team.
• Ensure work complies with safety, quality, and environmental requirements.
• Work with management and production teams to improve maintenance processes.
