Job summary

Great Wall Motor Malaysia is hiring a qualified engineer to provide technical resolution and support to service dealers, fleet customers and internal teams in Kuala Lumpur.

The role involves technical investigations, root cause analysis, data-driven quality improvement, and deployment of field countermeasures, bulletins, and service information. You will ensure high dealer and customer satisfaction through expert technical advice and collaboration with suppliers.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of related experience.
• Preferably experience in automotive industry.
• Willing to work in Kuala Lumpur.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical resolution and support to service dealers, fleet customers, and internal departments.
• Conduct technical investigations and root cause analysis and propose countermeasures.
• Analyze warranty, VOC, and DMS data to detect vehicle quality issues early.
• Collect customer/market feedback and report for countermeasure actions and product improvements.
• Deploy technical administration/information for aftersales service dealers (service/technical information, bulletins, field fix reports).
• Ensure dealer and customer satisfaction with field service and technical advice.
• Enable supplier warranty analysis with parts and data; propose improvement actions at vendor.

Job description

. Provide technical resolution and support to service dealers, fleet customers, and internal department. (Including: technical investigation, root cause analysis and propose countermeasure.)

. Analysis of key market indicators (warranty, VOC, DMS data.) to identify/early detection of vehicles’ quality/technical issues.

. Collect customer/market feedback on the product quality issue and report to relevant parties for rectification, countermeasure action & product improvement activity.

. To implement and provide technical administration/information for aftersales service dealers which included service/technical information and bulletin, field fix report and countermeasure action plan deployment.

. Ensure dealer and customer satisfaction by providing excellent field service and technical advice

. Vendor Quality Improvement: Enable supplier warranty analysis with parts and data, facilitating routine investigations, propose improvement action plan at vendor.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Preferably with working experience in automotive industry.
• Applicants must be willing to work in Kuala Lumpur.
