Job summary

TCR Solution Sdn Bhd is seeking a Technical Supervisor based in Bayan Lepas, Penang, to lead and direct a team of skilled technicians delivering quality technical services. The role focuses on supervision, hands-on work, and client liaison to ensure timely, compliant project execution.

You will provide guidance and training, monitor performance, and partner with other departments to align technical processes with business goals. A strong leadership mindset and safety focus are essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in a supervisory role within GSE, heavy equipment, automotive or related industries.
• Strong technical knowledge with ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills to drive a team to success.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with clients and cross‑functional teams.
• Proficient in problem-solving, decision-making and analytical thinking.
• Familiarity with SAP and safety/environmental practices.

About the role

As the Technical Supervisor at TCR Solution Sdn Bhd, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company's technical teams. Based in Bayan Lepas, Penang, this full-time position will see you leading and directing a team of skilled technicians to ensure the efficient delivery of high-quality services to our clients.

What you'll be doing

Supervising and coordinating the work of technical teams to meet production targets and quality standards

Providing technical guidance, training, and support to team members to enhance their skills and capabilities

Monitoring and reporting on team performance, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective measures

Liaising with clients to understand their requirements and ensuring timely and effective resolution of any technical issues

Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to project activities and team performance

Collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth integration of technical processes with the overall business operations

Managing inventory, performing hands‑on mechanical or electrical work, customer management, maintaining EQ availability and maintenance compliance

What we're looking for

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a similar supervisory role within the ground support equipment (GSE), heavy equipment, automotive, or other related industries

Strong technical knowledge and expertise in the relevant field, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues

Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team to success

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and cross‑functional teams

Proficient in problem‑solving, decision‑making, and analytical thinking

Proficient in relevant software tools and systems used in the industry (SAP)

Strong knowledge of safety and environmental practices
