Job summary

Sealink Sdn Bhd., a Malaysia-based maritime services group, seeks a Technical Superintendent to oversee machinery assessment, PMS, and technical planning. The role involves reporting duties and occasional travel to vessels as required, supporting offshore operations and ship management.

Candidates should hold marine engineering qualifications with strong seagoing experience; CoC as Chief Engineer is preferred, and shore-based ship management experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Marine Engineering qualification or equivalent; CoC as Chief Engineer preferred.
• Seven+ years of relevant experience; seagoing background highly desirable.
• Shore-based ship management experience is an advantage.
• Competent in machinery assessment, PMS, technical reporting and planning.

Responsibilities

• Machinery assessment and condition monitoring for vessels.
• Maintain and manage PMS (Planned Maintenance System) schedules.
• Prepare technical reports and maintenance planning documentation.
• Travel to vessels as required to perform duties.

About you

• Marine Engineering or relevant engineering qualification, marine engineering CoC, or more than seven years of relevant experience
• Minimum five years of seagoing marine engineering experience, preferably including service as Chief Engineer or Second Engineer
• Shore-based ship management experience would be an added advantage
• Chief Engineer CoC, preferably Class 1 or Class 2 (Unlimited)
• Competent in machinery assessment, PMS, technical reporting and planning
