Job summary

Sika Deutschland GmbH in Kulai, Malaysia seeks a technical support specialist to provide training, run demos and tests, and prepare samples for the sales team. You will support the Technical Service Manager, engineers and market managers on technical matters.

Your duties include preparing samples and demo kits, assisting with product training on site with applicators and contractors, arranging tools, maintaining clean, safe work areas, and labeling equipment.

Qualifications

• Provide technical support by carrying out training, demos, tests and preparing samples for the sales team.
• Assist with product training and on-site demos with applicators and contractors.
• Maintain safe, clean working space and ensure proper labeling and storage.

Responsibilities

• To provide technical support by carrying out training, demos, tests and preparing samples as required by the commercial sales team.
• Support Technical Service Manager / Engineers / Executive and Target Market Managers on Technical Matters
• Preparing samples and demo kits
• Assist with product training, demos at site with applicators / contractors
• Ensure that all product samples are properly prepared as requested by target market managers, regional managers and sales managers or sales executives
• Arrange all tools and materials, ensure workstation signs/labels are displayed, and keep the TSD area clean and safe
• Ensure TSD equipment is maintained, calibrated, and returned in good condition after use
• Adhere to EHS policy, report hazards, and participate in EHS training
• Any other tasks assigned from time to time
• Maintain Sika information with confidentiality and adhere to policies

Job description

To provide technical support by carrying out training, demos, tests and preparing samples as required by the commercial sales team.

a. Main Tasks

Support Technical Service Manager / Engineers / Executive and Target Market Managers on Technical Matters

• Preparing samples and demo kits
• Assist with product training, demos, tests at site with applicators / contractors

Product Samples and Packaging

• Ensure that all product samples are properly prepared as requested by the Target Market Managers, Regional Managers and Sales Managers or Sales Executives.

TSD Working Space

• Arrange all tools and materials.
• Ensure that signs / labels are properly displayed at workstation.
• Remove all old and unused materials.
• Ensure that TSD working area is clean and tidy and is a safe working environment.

Equipment

• Ensure TSD all equipment is maintained in clean and good condition and is calibrated.
• Record and label all equipment and ensure all equipment taken out of the factory is returned in good condition.

b. Safety

• To ensure EHS compliance as per Sika policy and EHS minimum requirements
• Reports any hazards immediately adhering to superior or EHS personnel
• Comply to Sika Life Saving Rule
• Participate in EHS related training

c. Others

• Any other tasks assigned from time to time

d. Security

• Maintain Sika information with appropriate secrecy and adhere to policies regarding confidential information

e. Limitations of Authority

• No purchase of equipment and / or materials without approval from HOD, GM & MoA
