Job summary

Sungrow is seeking a qualified Service Manager in Sabah, Malaysia to lead service operations for renewable energy projects. The role covers field service from pre-commissioning to repairs, ensuring safety compliance, and coordinating with global teams.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical Engineering, has 3+ years in renewable energy service with hands-on Solar PV experience, and demonstrates strong communication and project management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of service experience in renewable energy or power electronics.
• Hands-on Solar PV experience for at least 2 years (installation and commissioning).
• Strong commitment, responsiveness, and leadership.
• Demonstrated teamwork and project management skills in international environments.
• Solid understanding of energy storage systems and PV inverters.
• Experience coordinating with global stakeholders.
• Excellent written and spoken English; Chinese a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Job Requirement:

• High level of commitment and responsiveness.

• Project management skills in an international environment with stakeholders across the globe.
• Excellent written, verbal communication skills, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English. Chinese language is a plus.
• Proficiency with computer programs/software (Microsoft Office).
