Qualifications

• Degree in Food Technology, Science, Business or Marketing.
• At least 2 years of sales experience.
• Customer-oriented with excellent customer service and sales skills.
• Pleasant personality with excellent communication skills.
• Excellent phone and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Good negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Results-oriented self-starter, persistent and positive attributes.
• Able to work under minimum supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical service and coordinate on information sharing to assist customers on new product development.
• Set sales goals and develop sales strategies.
• Research prospects and generate leads.
• Contact potential and existing customers on the phone, by email, and in person.
• Handle customer questions, inquiries, and complaints.
• Prepare and send quotes and proposals.
• Manage the sales process through constant communication.
• Build and maintain a customer database.
• Meet weekly and monthly sales targets and reports.
• Participate in sales team meetings.
