Job summary

NUR AFAR SDN BHD is seeking a Sales Engineer for its Mechanical Engineering division in Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan. The role covers technical sales support, client liaison, and ensuring delivery of engineering solutions on site.

The candidate will present product demonstrations, prepare proposals, and work with engineers to translate complex concepts for customers, while building strong relationships and seeking new business opportunities.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 2–3 years of sales experience in Power Plant & Pumps industry.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Willing to learn, proactive and able to follow instructions from senior engineers.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Able to work on site and travel for visits and meetings.
• Translate complex engineering concepts into layman's terms clearly.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proven track record of successful sales and customer relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical sales support to customers with product recommendations and solutions.
• Prepare sales proposals, tender submissions, and technical documents.
• Collaborate with engineering team to understand product capabilities.
• Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to clients.
