Role Description

This full-time Sales Engineer role is an on-site position based in Petaling Jaya. The Sales Engineer will engage with existing and potential customers to understand their engineering and industrial needs, propose suitable product solutions, and prepare quotations. Daily responsibilities include conducting technical product presentations, providing pre- and post-sales technical support, and coordinating with internal teams and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction. The role also involves building long-term customer relationships, following up on leads, tracking sales activities, and contributing to sales targets and market development initiatives. The Sales Engineer is expected to maintain up-to-date knowledge of Pusaco’s product portfolio and relevant industrial applications.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Sales Engineering skills to interpret technical requirements and recommend appropriate industrial solutions.
• Candidates should possess Technical Support capabilities to assist customers with product selection, troubleshooting, and application guidance.

• Diploma or degree in Engineering (mechanical, electrical, industrial, or related field) or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of industrial, mechanical, or power transmission products and process plant operations is an advantage.
• Proficiency in basic office and CRM software, with the ability to prepare proposals, reports, and sales documentation.
• Strong problem-solving attitude, willingness to learn, and readiness to travel to customer sites when required.
