Job summary

Kencana Megajaya Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Technical Solutions & Engineering Advisory professional to drive Code+ technology adoption on data centres, infrastructure and high-rise projects in Malaysia.

You will translate engineering concepts into clear value propositions for developers, consultants, and contractors, and engage with stakeholders to ensure design alignment. The role covers pre-sales engineering, specification development, QA/QC, and site integration while supporting sustainability

Qualifications

• Degree in Structural, Civil or Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years experience in construction or building materials sales.
• Strong ability to communicate technical solutions and value to clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide Technical Solutions & Engineering Advisory for Code+ technology.
• Prepare technical proposals and design methodologies aligned with project specs.
• Advise on integration of Code+ applications to address structural issues.
• Support Pre-Sales through documentation, method statements and tender input.
• Coordinate with Architects, consultants and project teams for design specs and QA.

Technical Solutioning & Engineering Advisory

Analyse construction challenges and recommend engineering-based solutions using Code+ technology

Develop technical proposals and methodologies aligned with project specifications, construction sequences, and site conditions

Provide advisory on integration of Code+ application to address root-cause structural issues

Translate engineering concepts into clear value propositions for developers, consultants, and contractors

Pre-Sales Engineering & Specification Development

Prepare and customise technical documentation, method statements, and material specifications for tender and design stages

Engage with Architects, C&S Consultants, and Project Teams to drive product specification into project designs

Conduct technical presentations, design briefings, and product demonstrations

Support clients in achieving GBI, GreenRE, and sustainability compliance through material selection and system design

Methodology, QA/QC & Site Integration

Work closely with Kencana Megajaya’s operations team to ensure correct application methodology and site execution

Provide guidance on surface preparation, casting process, curing optimisation, and coating systems

Support quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) processes, including inspections, troubleshooting, and rectification recommendations

Participate in site visits, mock-ups, and testing to validate performance and ensure compliance with specifications

Project Development & Technical Sales Support

Identify and qualify project opportunities across data centres, high-rise developments, and infrastructure projects

Support the commercial team in technical negotiations, tender submissions, and proposal development

Align technical solutions with cost efficiency, lifecycle performance, and project timelines

Act as the technical bridge between client requirements and internal delivery teams

Monitor advancements in construction materials, concrete technology, waterproofing systems, and ESG-related standards

Analyse competitor systems and position Code+’s technical advantages

Identify emerging opportunities in data centre & factories construction, infrastructure, and sustainable developments

Performance & Professional Growth

Support revenue growth through technical influence in project wins

Continuously upgrade knowledge in civil engineering practices, construction methodologies, and sustainable materials

Develop into a technical leader or solution specialist within the organisation

Requirements
