Job summary

Ria Money Transfer in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced Technical Recruiter to own the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for technology roles, building strong pipelines and delivering an outstanding candidate experience.

You will partner with hiring managers to understand technical requirements, develop sourcing strategies, and attract top IT talent to support our digital transformation and global growth in a multinational environment. This role requires onsite work in KL Sentral.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in HR, Business, IT, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of Talent Acquisition experience recruiting IT/tech talent.
• Strong understanding of technology roles, skills, and hiring trends.
• Proven success in sourcing and attracting technical talent in competitive markets.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end recruitment for IT and technology roles, including software engineering, infrastructure, cybersecurity, data.
• Develop proactive sourcing strategies using LinkedIn, job boards, networks, referrals, and market mapping.
• Engage with hiring managers to understand requirements and provide market insights.
• Own the candidate experience and manage offers and onboarding.

About This Role

We are seeking a Technical Recruiter with strong IT and technology recruitment experience to join our growing team in Malaysia. This role will play a key part in attracting and hiring exceptional technology talent to support our business growth and digital transformation initiatives.

As a trusted recruitment partner to hiring managers and business leaders, you will own the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for technology roles, developing innovative sourcing strategies, building strong talent pipelines, and delivering an outstanding candidate experience.

Talent Sourcing & Recruitment Strategy

• Lead end-to-end recruitment activities for IT and technology positions, including software engineering, application development, infrastructure, cybersecurity, data, and other technology functions.
• Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies using LinkedIn, job boards, professional networks, referrals, and market mapping.
• Identify, engage, and attract high-quality technology professionals in competitive talent markets.
• Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for current and future business needs.

Stakeholder Partnership & Hiring Management

• Partner closely with hiring managers and business stakeholders to understand technical requirements, team structures, and workforce needs.
• Provide market insights, recruitment recommendations, and guidance on talent availability and hiring strategies.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing coordination, offer management, and onboarding support.
• Ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience throughout the hiring journey.

Employer Branding & Candidate Experience

• Represent Ria Money Transfer as an employer of choice within the technology talent market.
• Promote the company culture, values, and career opportunities to attract diverse and high-performing candidates.
• Support employer branding initiatives, recruitment campaigns, and talent engagement activities.

Recruitment Analytics & Process Improvement

• Maintain accurate recruitment data, candidate pipelines, and hiring reports.
• Track recruitment metrics and provide insights to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Continuously identify opportunities to enhance recruitment processes and tools.

Compliance & Best Practices

• Ensure all recruitment activities comply with company policies, local employment regulations, and data privacy requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality of candidate information throughout the recruitment process.

Position Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, with proven experience recruiting IT and technology professionals.
• Strong understanding of technology roles, skill sets, and hiring trends.
• Demonstrated success in sourcing and attracting technical talent in competitive markets.
• Experience managing senior-level and specialized technology recruitment is highly preferred.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence hiring managers.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Bahasa Malaysia and additional languages are an advantage.
• Experience working in a multinational, fast-paced, or global organization is preferred.
• Applicants must be willing to work onsite in the KL Sentral area.
