Job summary

Turnkey Consulting Malaysia is seeking a Senior Recruiter to lead IT talent acquisition across Southeast Asia from our Kuala Lumpur office. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in recruitment at a top multinational firm and can implement best-in-class processes to attract niche IT professionals.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of recruitment experience specializing in IT roles across Southeast Asia.
• Experience at a top-tier multinational recruitment firm.
• Strong network and market knowledge of IT talent in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, and SEA.
• Ability to manage multiple requisitions and deliver high-quality hires under tight timelines.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Independent worker who also contributes to a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers and business leaders to understand workforce requirements and develop effective hiring strategies.
• Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for IT roles across Southeast Asia, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer management.
• Source, attract, and engage high-calibre talent through LinkedIn Recruiter, referrals, networking, job portals, and direct sourcing.
• Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for niche IT skill sets (IAM, PAM, GRC, SAP, Cybersecurity, etc.).
• Lead candidate assessments covering behavioural fit, values alignment, and technical competency reviews with hiring managers.
• Provide regional market intelligence on talent availability, salary benchmarking, hiring trends, to support informed decisions.
• Coordinate and facilitate interview processes, ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience.
• Drive employer branding initiatives to position Turnkey Consulting as an employer of choice in IT consulting.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Recruiter to join our Kuala Lumpur office. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in talent acquisition within the IT sector, with deep regional expertise across Southeast Asia. This role requires someone who has previously worked with a top-tier multinational recruitment firm and can bring best-in-class recruitment practices to Turnkey Consulting.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers and business leaders to understand workforce requirements and develop effective hiring strategies.


• Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for IT roles across Southeast Asia, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer management.


• Source, attract, and engage high-calibre talent through multiple channels, including LinkedIn Recruiter, referrals, networking, job portals, and direct sourcing.


• Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for niche IT skill sets (IAM, PAM, GRC, SAP, Cybersecurity etc.).


• Lead candidate assessments covering behavioural fit, values alignment, and technical competency reviews in partnership with hiring managers.

• Ensure compliance with recruitment policies, data privacy requirements, and local labour regulations.


• Maintain accurate recruitment records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and manage the organisation's talent database.


• Track and report key recruitment metrics, including time-to-fill, source effectiveness, pipeline health, and offer acceptance rates.


• Collaborate with HR and business stakeholders to continuously improve recruitment processes, hiring outcomes, and candidate experience.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of recruitment experience specializing in IT roles across Southeast Asia.


• Prior experience working at a top-tier multinational recruitment firm.


• Strong network and market knowledge of IT talent in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, and the wider SEA region.


• Proven ability to manage multiple requisitions and deliver high-quality hires under tight timelines.


• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.


• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.


• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, or related field preferred.
