Job summary

Flex is seeking a Technical Program Management Engineer to support design, validation, and implementation of innovative product solutions at the Prai/Batu Kawan, Penang site. You will partner with Design, Engineering and commercial teams to meet customer requirements from prototype to NPI.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and about 5 years in high-tech electronics, with knowledge of SMT, Wave soldering and assembly.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Typically requires 5 years of experience in engineering in the high technology electronics industry or related field.
Knowledge in SMT / Wave / Soldering / Assembly.
Experience coordinating with different departments to ensure smooth project transfer from R&D, Dongguan factory to Penang site.

Responsibilities

Partner with the Design & Engineering teams and commercial teams to drive the design, validation, and implementation of innovative and cost-effective product solutions.
Drive the execution of product development, contributing technical expertise to product development, coordinating the development of new technologies with technical program engineers, and ensuring program timing and budgets are met.
Translate customer’s technical needs and requirements to the NPI and CFT teams.
Lead program team, including regular team meetings and updates to management.
