Job summary

Flex is seeking a Technical Program Management Engineer in Prai/Batu Kawan, Penang, to lead design, validation and the implementation of innovative product solutions that meet customer requirements from concept through NPI.

You will partner with design, engineering and commercial teams, drive program timing and budgets, translate customer needs to the NPI and CFT groups, and lead the program team with regular updates to management.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
5 years of engineering experience in the high technology electronics industry or related field.
Knowledge of SMT, Wave soldering, Soldering and Assembly.
Experience coordinating cross-department transfers from R&D to Penang site.

Responsibilities

Partner with Design & Engineering and commercial teams to drive design, validation and implementation of product solutions meeting customer requirements from prototype through NPI.
Drive the execution of product development, coordinating new technologies with program engineers, ensuring timing and budgets are met.
Translate customer needs to the NPI and cross-functional teams (CFT).
Develop plans for structuring and implementing major initiatives.
Lead the program team with regular meetings and updates to management.
