Job summary

Flextronics is expanding its Penang team and seeks a Technical Program Management Engineer in Prai/Batu Kawan to drive design, validation, and implementation of innovative product solutions from concept through NPI. You will lead program activities, coordinate with R&D, design, and manufacturing, and ensure milestones, risk management, and budgets are met.

This role requires a strong engineering background, excellent cross‑functional collaboration, and a results-driven mindset.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• Typically requires 5 years of experience in engineering in the high technology electronics industry or related field.
• Knowledge in SMT / Wave / Soldering / Assembly

Responsibilities

• Lead program team, including regular team meetings and updates to management.
• Drive the design, validation, and implementation of product solutions from concept through NPI.
• Coordinate with R&D, design, and manufacturing to ensure smooth project transfer and milestones.

Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Technical Program Management Engineer located in Prai/Batu Kawan, Penang.

What a typical day looks like:

Partner with the Design & Engineering teams and commercial teams to drive the design, validation, and implementation of innovative and cost-effective product solutions of varying scope in order to meet customer requirements from development of conceptual prototypes and architecture thru the NPI phase. Drive the execution of product development, contributing technical expertise to product development, coordinating the development of new technologies with technical program engineers, and ensuring program timing and budgets are met. Translate customer’s technical needs and requirements to the NPI and CFT teams. Knowledge of multiple functional technologies/ processes, industries or functions and understanding of inter-dependencies of such processes at the site. Develops plans for structuring and implementing major initiatives. Lead program team, including regular team meetings and updates to management.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• Typically requires 5 years of experience in engineering in the high technology electronics industry or related field.
• Knowledge in SMT / Wave / Soldering / Assembly
• Experience in coordinating with different departments to ensure smooth project transfer from R&D, Dongguan factory to Penang site.
