Job summary

Azelis is seeking a Crop Nutrition and Protection Specialist in Malaysia to provide technical expertise across crop nutrition and crop protection, support product development, and drive field validation activities locally.

You will collaborate with sales teams, agronomists, and regulatory colleagues to design field trials, analyze data, train internal staff and customers, and prepare dossiers for product registration.

Responsibilities

• Technical Advisory: Provide scientifically grounded recommendations on crop nutrition programs, including product selection, dosage, and application methods.
• Field Trials & Product Evaluation: Design, implement, and manage field trials for crop protection and crop nutrition products across multiple locations.
• Product Training: Deliver technical training to internal teams and external stakeholders including distributors and growers.
• Project Management: Lead and coordinate projects with R&D, regulatory, and commercial teams to ensure timely execution.
• Regulatory & Registration: Support registration processes for crop protection and crop nutrition products in Malaysia and prepare technical dossiers.

Job Purpose

To provide technical expertise in crop nutrition and crop protection, support product development and registration, and drive field validation activities across Malaysia

Key Responsibilities

1. Technical Advisory Provide scientifically grounded recommendations on crop nutrition programs, including product selection, dosage, and application methods. Support the sales team and customers with technical problem-solving related to crop performance and agronomic challenges. Assist sales team or target customer for technical discussion with agronomist of plantation
2. Field Trials & Product Evaluation Design, implement, and manage field trials for crop protection and crop nutrition products. Conduct multi-location trials across different crops to generate robust and reliable data. Analyze trial results and produce technical reports to support product positioning and commercialization. Generate localized data for Malaysia and contribute technical validation programs.
3. Product Training Deliver technical training to internal teams (sales, marketing) to enhance product knowledge and application competence. Conduct training sessions, seminars, and field demonstrations for external stakeholders including distributors, dealers, and growers.
4. Project Management Lead and coordinate projects related to principal product development. Work cross-functionally with principals, R&D, regulatory, and commercial teams to ensure timely execution of product initiatives. Monitor project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
5. Regulatory & Registration Support and manage registration processes for crop protection and crop nutrition products in Malaysia. Liaise with regulatory authorities and ensure compliance with local guidelines and requirements. Prepare and compile technical dossiers, trial data, and supporting documentation for product registration.
