Job summary

Kian Joo Can Factory Berhad in Malaysia is seeking an Electrical/Mechatronic Engineer to support TPM initiatives and lead improvements in machine repair and optimization.

You will coordinate maintenance plans, perform regular machinery inspections, drive ERP–PLC integration, participate in training, and help develop procedures while monitoring the maintenance budget.

The role requires 2–3 years in manufacturing and strong PLC knowledge.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronic or Mechatronic Engineering, Facility Management, or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of working experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of PLC programming and electrical systems, with a mechanical repair background.
• Good organizational and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in leading the TPM programme for machine repair and improvement.
• Involve in system integration of existing equipment with the ERP system and PLC settings.
• Attend meetings and participate in improvement programme training.
• Provide operational support: prepare maintenance schedules and inspect machinery and facilities.
• Identify root causes and implement corrective plans.
• Record and oversee maintenance budget and update procedures.
