Job summary

Polydamic Sdn Bhd in Malaysia seeks a Mechanical Draughtsman to prepare, develop, and revise technical drawings, flowcharts, and layout plans to support design and engineering workflows.

You will manage and maintain project drawings, convert sketches into accurate drawings, and collaborate with project leads to ensure quality and compliance, including FAT submissions and DOE-related documents. Site visits may be required.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting or equivalent.
• Min 2 to 3 years in AutoCAD drawing.
• Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics environment experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, develop, and revise technical drawings, flowcharts, and layout plans to support design and engineering workflows.
• Manage and maintain all project drawings and drafting documentation, including filing and equipment upkeep.
• Provide drafting and documentation support throughout various project stages, including tender submission, certification, and ongoing execution.
• Convert sketches and conceptual inputs from engineers into accurate technical drawings.
• Collaborate with project leads to review designs and coordinate with the production team to ensure job accuracy and quality standards.
• Support project coordination tasks, including FAT and submission of documents to regulatory bodies such as DOE.
• Conduct site visits when required by the project scope.
