Job summary

PORATHA PLANTATION & CROPS SDN BHD in Malaysia is seeking a Draughtsman to prepare and revise mechanical, piping, structural and fabrication drawings for the Port Dickson project. You will produce shop drawings, layouts and as-built documents, and interpret engineering drawings and site measurements.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or Drafting, is proficient in AutoCAD, and can work independently on site with immediate availability preferred.

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting or a related discipline.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of other relevant design software is an advantage.
• Relevant experience in mechanical construction, piping, structural steel or fabrication is preferred.
• Able to interpret technical drawings and work independently.
• Willing to work at the Port Dickson project site.
• Immediate availability will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and revise mechanical, piping, structural and fabrication drawings.
• Produce shop drawings, layouts, details and as-built drawings.
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications and site measurements.
• Coordinate drawing requirements with engineers, project personnel and site teams.
• Maintain proper drawing records and revision control.
