Job summary

Private Advertiser in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a capable Draughtsman to prepare and modify 2D/3D drawings using AutoCAD, and to produce technical drawings, layouts, shop drawings, and as-built plans based on project requirements.

You will update drawings per engineers' and clients' comments, maintain drawing files and project documentation, and coordinate with site teams to ensure accurate, on-time deliverables.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in AutoCAD for technical drawings and layouts.
• Strong command of Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Good knowledge of technical drawing and documentation.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and organization.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and modify 2D/3D drawings using AutoCAD.
• Produce technical drawings, layouts, shop drawings, as-built drawings, and plans based on project requirements.
• Update drawings according to comments from engineers, architects, clients, or site teams.
• Ensure drawings follow company standards, specifications, and required dimensions.
• Maintain and organize drawing files, revisions, and project documentation.
• Assist with preparing material lists, measurements, quotations, or basic project documentation where required.
• Coordinate with site/project teams to clarify drawing requirements and changes.
• Handle daily office administration, filing, scanning, printing, and document control.
• Prepare letters, reports and other administrative documents.
• Manage project records, correspondence, invoices, purchase orders, and delivery documents.
• Assist with data entry and updating spreadsheets/databases.
• Assist management and project teams with ad-hoc administrative tasks.
• Track drawing submissions, approvals, revisions, and deadlines.
• Follow up on outstanding documents and project requirements.
• Assist in ensuring project documentation is complete and properly maintained.
