Job summary

Liberty Specialty Markets is seeking a Technical Associate to provide technical support to the Underwriting Innovation & Capability team across the Asia Pacific region. The role will include timely and accurate data entry, support for underwriting authority updates and annual attestation review, and maintaining and creating content on SharePoint sites.

You will manage documentation, generate PowerPoint and Excel reports, and assist with CRM data cleanup and analytics while coordinating meetings

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of working experience

Job description

The Technical Associate role provides technical support to the Underwriting Innovation & Capability team across the Asia Pacific region. The role will include being responsible for timely and accurate data entry, support for underwriting authority updates and annual attestation review, annual underwriting manuals update process, overseeing the underwriting directives process, creating and maintaining content on Sharepoint sites, and management and creation of process documentation.

2. Job Duties

• Responsible for all Underwriting Authority administrative aspects across underwriting. This will include, but is not limited to, annual attestation review process, creation and storage of authority letters, responding to compliance queries.
• Assist with Internal Audit information requests as required.
• Responsible for organising all aspects of Underwriting Innovation & Capability team meetings including virtual meetings and recording of minutes.
• Responsible for organising Underwriting Innovation & Capability team meetings (including offsites, arranging planning days, and group booking seminars) and overseeing team expense management if required.
• Maintain Underwriting Product Line Email Distribution lists, Underwriting Innovation & Capability shared inboxes & coordination of the Underwriting Innovation & Capability leadership calendars when required.
• Maintain Underwriting Innovation & Capability, and when required Product Line, team org charts & any other team contact lists and effectively manage all CRM.
• Assist in the cleanup of data in databases for brokerages, MDM/Salesforce and Globex contact lists.
• Assist in the review and maintenance of Underwriting Innovation & Capability product and team marketing collateral & VP content.
• Creating and designing PowerPoint presentations, Word, and Excel reports as required.
• Creating and Maintaining Underwriting and Process Manuals, including the Underwriting Manual (annually), MTC documents and Underwriting Innovation & Capability manuals or process documents.
• Responsible for the creation and maintenance of Sharepoint sites (including Underwriting Innovation & Capability, Technical Training & Development, and Multinational sites), initiating meetings and follow ups with relevant stakeholders to understand scope & content requirements, engage IT assistance when required, undertaking Sharepoint site UAT and establishing & undertaking the process for SharePoint site to implement content updates and maintenance as required.
• Assisting in the generation and distribution of reports and analytics across the business.
• Undertaking UAT as and when necessary for the Underwriting Innovation & Capability Team needs.
• Continuing to seek improvement of the product and of self by the continuous improvement of practices and processes.
• Maintaining a highly effective and responsive working relationship with all internal stakeholders.
• Assist the Underwriting Innovation & Capability Team with ad-hoc tasks.
• Supporting the Technical Associate across Product Development as necessary.
