Job summary

FK TECHNOLOGY SDN. BHD. invites applications for a Technical Assistant - Network & Security in Malaysia. The role supports project progress, manages state office operations, and contributes to network design and security maintenance.

You will install and configure OS and applications, prepare service reports, monitor performance, and liaise with vendors to resolve issues. Health insurance and maternity leave are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience providing 2nd and 3rd line IT support.
• Familiarity with network design and security concepts.
• Willingness to liaise with vendors and IT personnel to resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Report and actively update supervisor on project/work progress.
• Assist to manage and operate state office and report to head office for updates.
• Assist to manage projects and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure.
• Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools.
• Prepare installation/service reports as required by Project Manager.
• Assist to monitor application performance and identify bottlenecks.

Prepare installation/service report as required by of Project Manager

Assist to prepare network design

Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems & infrastructure availability

Assist to monitor or and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with distributor/principal to implement those fixes

Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies

Write and maintain configurations/report to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks

Participate in the design of information and operational support systems

Provide 2nd and 3rd level support

Liaise with vendors & other IT personnel for problem resolution

Prepare installation or service reports
