Job summary

Micron Technology is seeking an equipment technician in Penang, Batu Kawan, to troubleshoot electro-mechanical manufacturing equipment and perform repairs as per layouts and manuals. You will dismantle, adjust, and reassemble machinery and support continuous production.

The role requires a certificate in mechanical and electronic/electrical engineering, plus at least one year of experience; familiarity with AI-enabled tools and data analysis is a plus, with strong teamwork and communication

Qualifications

• Certificate in mechanical engineering and Electronic/Electrical Engineering.
• 1+ year of experience in manufacturing or related field is preferred.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Familiarity with AI applications or AI tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Performs electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process
• Dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings
• Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts.
• Rebuilds manufacturing equipment as required
• May perform equipment modifications as directed by engineers.

Requirements:-

• Certificate in mechanical engineering & Electronic/Electrical Engineering
• Highly motivated individuals with more than1 year working experience are encouraged to apply!
• Good understanding of Semiconductor Testing equipment processes. In-depth knowledge & hands on experience will be a plus point.
• A good teammate equipped with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Familiarity with manufacturing systems, data analysis, programming, or Artificial Intelligenceapplications is a plus.
• Experience using Generative AI,AI Assistant, or other AI-Enabledtools is preferred.
