About the Role

We are currently hiring a Technical Accounting Intern based in our Malaysian Branch to support the Technical Accountant team on the operations and automation tasks.

Responsibilities

• Supporting Property and Casualty Technical Accounting operations.
• Facilitating the processing of Non-Proportional and Facultative Claims.
• Managing facultative premium closings.
• Driving efficiency through automation by supporting data processing and automation tasks.
• Supporting in ad-hoc tasks as needed.

Requirements & Qualifications

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, Insurance, Business Administration, or related fields.
• Basic understanding of the insurance/reinsurance industry is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of SAP, VBA, and Microsoft Excel; experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) is encouraged.
• Strong administrative abilities, meticulous and detail-oriented, with a track record of relevant extracurricular activities.
• Strong analytical and precision skills, resourceful, and able to work effectively in a team.
• Good time management and multitasking abilities; proactive and quick-thinking; able to keep confidential information secure.
