Job summary

NSS IT Solution Sdn Bhd is seeking a hands-on Software Development Team Lead to guide a small, high-impact engineering team responsible for both a monolithic application and an expanding microservices ecosystem. You will split time between technical leadership, architecture decisions, and hands-on coding to mentor engineers and drive delivery.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of software development experience including backend and full stack work.
• Experience with monolithic and microservices architectures, modernizing legacy systems.
• Strong polyglot background across languages/frameworks (e.g., .NET, Java/Spring, Node.js, Python).

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and deployment across monolith and microservices.
• Make architectural decisions on service boundaries and API contracts.
• Mentor engineers and drive delivery with sprint planning and reviews.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps, and other teams to align roadmaps.
• Communicate trade-offs and risks to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
