Job summary

Port of Tanjung Pelepas is seeking an Executive, Technology Ecosystem Maintenance & Support to ensure steady operation of business applications and IT systems. You will monitor performance, perform maintenance, and assist with enhancements and deployments across platforms.

The role requires a degree in Computer Science/IT and experience in application development and support, plus familiarity with ITIL concepts and strong communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or equivalent.
Experience in application development and support.
Exposure to programming languages and database systems.
Knowledge of applications, desktop environments, networking and Microsoft servers.
Familiarity with ITIL Service Desk; ITIL certification is a plus.
Good communication, troubleshooting and customer service skills.
Able to explain technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
Willing to support outside normal hours or shifts when required.

Responsibilities

Monitor and maintain business applications for optimum performance and availability.
Perform planned and corrective application maintenance.
Support system enhancements, upgrades and application development.
Develop reports, tools and data extracts per user requirements.
Manage user requests and provide IT solutions.
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and change management.
Participate in IT/application projects from implementation to handover.
Manage application user accounts and access control.
Provide Service Desk and application support with timely resolutions.
Ensure compliance with IT policies and information security.
