Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a dedicated educator to design and update IEPs, adapt teaching materials for diverse learners, and teach students in various settings, including inclusive classrooms. The role emphasizes individualized instruction and data-driven progress tracking.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s in Education or a related field, at least 3 years of teaching experience, and strong communication skills in English. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams is essential.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and periodically update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's goals and needs
• Modify standard coursework, learning materials, and teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities
• Teach students individually, in small groups, or within inclusive general education classrooms using specialized instructional techniques
• Evaluate academic and behavioral progress, maintain detailed educational records, and adjust instruction based on data
• Develop behavior management strategies, implement positive behavioral interventions, and maintain classroom safety and structure
• Work closely with general education teachers, speech therapists, occupational therapists, school psychologists, and parents to support holistic development
• Utilize adaptive equipment and assistive technologies (e.g., communication devices, specialized software) to support student learning
• Teach daily living skills, social communication, and self-advocacy to foster student independence

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Education or a relevant field
