Job summary

Exentec Services Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a TCGM Technician to perform daily routine work on liquid bulk, specialty gas and chemical delivery equipment, including gas cabinets, chemical dispense modules, purifiers, bulk tanks, analyzers, and valve/ manifold boxes.

You will understand how each assembly operates, identify components, and carry out basic maintenance. In this role you will monitor readings, record rounds and safety inspections, manage gas and chemical inventories, report

• Certificate or Diploma in Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate liquid bulk, specialty gas and chemical delivery equipment.
• Perform daily rounds including recording readings, completing safety inspections, monitoring online gas & chemical systems.
• Perform gas cylinder & chemical drums/IBCs change-outs/charge in.
• Verify that daily rounds are recorded. Determine corrective action to be taken in the event of abnormal parameters and ensure that corrective action is completed.
• Monitor and understand correct liquid bulk delivery procedures for each product on site.
• Assist bulk gas and tube trailer offload and monitoring.
• Ensure that an accurate and complete gas & chemical inventory is maintained. Evaluate trends in monthly gas & chemical usage.
• Provide information for and initiate proper reporting procedures per on-site policies including, but not limited to: Quality Incident Reports, product acceptance, tank fill, inventory and material usage, bulk gas analysis, analyser calibration, monitoring, safety parameters, and personnel requirements.
• Assist in the identification and resolution of gas & chemical -related manufacturing problems.
• Assist as Emergency Response Team member if required.
• Participate in customer and Exentec Services Malaysia programs including, but not limited to: Safety, Training, Operations, and Preventive Maintenance.
• Develop and maintain applicable site-specific work instructions.
• Generate site-specific reports and consolidate data as requested by Management.
• Complete assigned tasks per existing procedures
• Perform minor analytical procedures and/or sampling procedures.
• Accountable for the safety of all persons and surrounding facilities.
• Any other task assigned by Management.

Job description

The primary responsibility of a TCGM Technician is to perform daily routine work like cylinder/drums/IBC change and receiving, round and readings, for liquid bulk, specialty gas and chemicals delivery equipment such as gas cabinets, chemical dispense module, purifiers, bulk tanks, analyzers, valve manifold boxes (VMB) and chemical manifold boxes (CMB). Understand how the equipment works, identify individual components included in each assembly and perform basic periodic maintenance and monitor sufficient gas inventories and report out any abnormalities. TCGM Technician is responsible in day-to-day shift operation with minimum supervision and work with superior in any plan set up for the shift.
