Jetour Malaysia is seeking a Senior Tax Specialist to manage corporate tax, SST, withholding tax, and other statutory filings. You will ensure timely compliance with LHDN/IRBM, RMCD and related authorities while monitoring deadlines and regulatory updates.
The role requires deep knowledge of Malaysian tax laws, 4–5 years of experience, and strong English communication skills. Collaboration with Finance, Legal and HQ is essential.
Manage corporate tax, SST, withholding tax and other statutory tax filings.
Ensure timely compliance with LHDN/IRBM, RMCD and other relevant authorities.
Monitor tax deadlines, payments, assessments and regulatory updates.
Oversee corporate tax matters and support effective tax planning.
Identify tax risks, savings opportunities and compliance gaps.
Advise management and business teams on tax implications of business activities and transactions.
Manage SST compliance, including tax treatment, reporting and payments.
Provide tax guidance on sales, purchases, imports, services and other transactions.
Liaise with Customs and external tax advisors when required.
Manage transfer pricing compliance and related‑party documentation.
Review withholding tax and other tax implications of cross‑border transactions.
Coordinate with Group/HQ Finance on intercompany transactions.
Coordinate tax audits, investigations and queries from tax authorities.
Manage tax assessments, disputes and appeals where required.
Maintain proper tax records, controls and documentation.
Work closely with Finance, Accounting, Sales, Procurement, HR and Legal teams on tax matters.
Provide tax advice on contracts, dealer arrangements, employee benefits and new business activities.
Support tax accounting and other finance-related duties as assigned.
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related discipline.
Professional qualification such as ACCA, CTIM, MIA, CPA, or equivalent is preferred.
Minimum 4-5 years of relevant tax experience, preferably with experience in a multinational company, Big 4, or automotive/manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of Malaysian corporate income tax, SST, withholding tax, and transfer pricing.
Experience handling LHDN/IRBM and Customs audits or tax investigations.
Strong understanding of Malaysian tax legislation, regulations, and compliance requirements.
Experience with cross-border and related‑party transactions is an advantage.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Candidate able tocommunicate effectively with China headquarters.
Good command of English is required for business communication and documentation.
