AIDAT TECHNOLOGY PTE. LTD. is seeking a Tax Manager to oversee regional tax matters across Singapore, Malaysia and key APAC markets. You will manage compliance, cross-border transactions and transfer pricing documentation, while liaising with authorities and external advisors.
The role requires 5+ years of international tax experience, strong knowledge of CIT, GST/SST, WHT, and DTA, and fluency in English to review legislation and contracts. ACCA/CPA qualifications are preferred.
Manage tax matters, compliance and tax risk across Singapore, Malaysia and key APAC markets, including Southeast Asia, Australia and Hong Kong. This role involves regional tax management, compliance oversight, cross-border tax advisory, transfer pricing, contract structuring, and tax planning across multiple jurisdictions.
Key responsibilities
Manage tax matters, compliance and tax risk across Singapore, Malaysia and key APAC markets, including Southeast Asia, Australia and Hong Kong
Manage and/or review Corporate Income Tax, GST/SST, Withholding Tax (WHT) and other tax compliance matters, and liaise with tax authorities such as IRAS and LHDN / HASiL and external tax advisors
Analyse the tax implications of cross-border procurement, sales, IT/Cloud services, technical services, equipment transactions and financing arrangements, including WHT, DTA, PE, indirect tax and corporate income tax
Review related-party transactions, including sales, purchases, services, management fees, intercompany loans and interest, and assist with Transfer Pricing policies and documentation
Review Purchase Agreements, Service Agreements, Loan Agreements and Intercompany Agreements from a tax perspective, and provide tax input on major business transactions and cross-border structures
Support regional tax planning in a compliant manner, identify and manage tax risks, and provide practical tax analysis and recommendations to management
About you
Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, Business, Law or a related discipline, with 5+ years of relevant tax experience, preferably in International Tax, Regional Tax or Cross-Border Tax
Strong knowledge of Singapore and Malaysia tax, including Corporate Income Tax, GST/SST, Withholding Tax, DTA and Transfer Pricing
Experience with tax matters across Southeast Asia, Australia, Hong Kong or other APAC markets is highly preferred
Hands-on experience in cross-border transactions, related-party transactions, Transfer Pricing, cross-border financing, IT/Cloud, Data Centre or hardware trading is preferred
Strong ability to independently research tax laws and DTAs and translate tax requirements into practical, commercially viable solutions
Fluent in written and spoken English, with the ability to independently review English tax legislation, tax guidance and commercial agreements
Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CA Singapore, CTA or CPA are preferred
