Mewah Group in Port Klang, Selangor seeks an experienced Logistics Executive (Tank Farm Operations) to coordinate and monitor the movement and storage of edible oils within our tank farm, ensuring timely deliveries and accurate inventory. The role collaborates with production planning, suppliers, and internal teams to optimize utilization and uphold food safety and quality standards.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Logistics or related fields and hands-on experience in tank farm

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Working experience in Tank Farm Operations, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Inventory Management within a manufacturing environment will be advantage.
• Strong analytical, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills with the ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of Food Safety, Quality Management Systems, and Occupational Safety & Health requirements will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate daily oil movement activities, including tanker lorry receipts, pipeline transfers, flexibag shipments, and isotank operations.
• Monitor tank utilization, ullage, and storage capacity to ensure efficient inventory management.
• Work closely with Production Planning to ensure adequate oil availability to support manufacturing requirements.
• Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments with suppliers, transporters, surveyors, and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare and maintain daily movement reports, ullage reports, oil transfer declarations, and inventory reconciliation reports.
• Verify and process weighbridge transactions, pipeline transfer records, and inventory postings in the ERP system.
• Ensure accurate stock reconciliation and investigate inventory variances.
• Monitor loading and unloading activities to ensure compliance with operational, quality, and safety requirements.
• Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and SHE standards.
• Liaise with Maintenance, Engineering, and Safety teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives within Tank Farm operations.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, reduce losses, and optimize tank utilization.
