Job summary

Renesas Semiconductor (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventative maintenance on ATE testers, handlers, and contactors, and to support test engineers with day-to-day operations. You will inspect, calibrate, and replace worn components to minimize equipment downtime and ensure data integrity of test results.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electronic or Mechatronic Engineering.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Able to read datasheets, test limits and schematics.
• Experience with ATE platforms and handlers is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on ATE testers, handlers, and contactors.
• Clean and replace consumable parts.
• Conduct routine calibration of test system instruments.
• Troubleshoot hardware issues including mechanical, electrical, and thermal problems.
• Support Test Engineers in failure analysis and root cause investigations.
• Prepare and maintain test-related documentation and reports.
