Job summary

CapBay in Malaysia is seeking a proactive Talent Engagement Intern to support employee engagement, event coordination, and learning & development logistics while working closely with our People and Culture team.

This internship offers hands-on experience in organizing internal events, managing training schedules, drafting communications, supporting the buddy program, and maintaining training records with guidance from an experienced team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, HR, business admin or related field.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Adaptable and able to adjust to different teams and styles.

Responsibilities

• Event Planning & Execution – coordinate and execute internal events and team-building activities.
• Training Logistics – manage scheduling, calendar invites, venue booking and logistics.
• Employee Engagement Support – draft and execute internal communications and recognition efforts.
• Buddy System Support – coordinate buddy program and track interactions.
• L&D Administration – maintain training records, attendance, and draft reports.
• Research – support People and Culture projects and policy documentation.

Talent Engagement Intern

About the role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Talent Engagement Intern to support our people initiatives! This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in employee engagement, event coordination, and learning & development logistics while working closely with an experienced team in a dynamic environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Event Planning & Execution – Assist in coordinating and executing internal events, team-building activities, and engagement initiatives such as festive celebrations;
• Training Logistics – Manage scheduling, calendar invites, venue booking, and logistics for training sessions;
• Employee Engagement Support – Support the drafting and execution of internal communications, employee recognition efforts, and workplace culture initiative;
• Buddy System Support – Assist in coordinating the buddy program by tracking buddy-joiner interactions, ensuring workflow runs smoothly, and supporting feedback collection.
• L&D Administration – Maintain training records, track attendance, and draft reports for review.
• Research – Support People and Culture projects, policy documentation, and research as needed.

Key Qualifications and Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
