Job summary

Funding Societies | Modalku is seeking a People Development Intern to support company-wide surveys, learning initiatives, and data-driven insights. The role focuses on shaping employee learning, growth, and engagement across the organization.

The internship lasts 3–6 months with a monthly allowance of RM1,200. Flexible working, mental health support, and a company laptop are provided to enable productive work and learning opportunities.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or master’s program (Master’s preferred) in HR, Data Science, Business Administration, Economics, Management, Statistics, or related fields.
• Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
• Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
• Preferred: prior internship or project experience in people development or people analytics.

Responsibilities

• Drive company-wide surveys — engagement, 360, and training feedback — from setup to insight analysis.
• Build and automate feedback reports, identify trends, and translate data into actionable recommendations for leaders and initiatives.
• Develop engaging communication materials and coordinate learning sessions end-to-end; contribute to e-learning development.
• Research emerging learning topics and evaluate external platforms to scale learning opportunities.

As a People Development Intern, you’ll play a key role in shaping how employees learn, grow, and engage across the company. This role is perfect for someone passionate about people development, data, and technology

What will you do:

1. Drive Company-wide Surveys
   1. Support the full lifecycle of engagement, 360, and training feedback surveys — from setup and response tracking to insight analysis.
   2. Build and automate feedback reports, identifying trends and translating data into actionable recommendations for leaders and people development initiatives.
2. Run Regional People Development Initiatives
   1. Develop engaging communication materials — posters, internal campaigns, and announcements that drive participation in training programs.
   2. Coordinate learning sessions end-to-end: scheduling, participant communication, and logistics management.
   Contribute to e-learning development by creating short modules, knowledge checks, and feedback systems that make learning interactive and impactful.
3. Research & Innovate in Learning
   1. Conduct research on emerging learning topics and digital training technologies aligned with business needs.
   2. Evaluate external platforms, training partners, and government grants to scale learning opportunities efficiently.
   3. Develop and maintain behavioral change tracking systems to measure training impact and link learning outcomes to real workplace performance.
4. Perform data cleaning and analysis using Excel or Google Sheets to generate reports and insights supporting decision-making and audit requirements.

What are we looking for:

• Duration: 3-6 months.
• Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
• Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
• Solid analytical ability and data sense — able to interpret data and turn it into actionable insights.
• Clear and structured communication skills; ability to frame problems and propose logical solutions.
• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or master’s program (Master’s preferred) in Human Resources, Data Science, Business Administration, Economics, Management, Statistics, or related fields.
• Preferred: Prior internship or project experience in people development or people analytics.

This internship comes with a monthly allowance of RM1,200.
