Job summary

Links International is seeking a Talent Advisor (Researcher) to support APAC executive and specialist searches from our Kuala Lumpur office. You will act as a core recruitment researcher, mapping target industries, uncovering hidden talent, and building a world-class candidate pipeline for selective clients.

You will partner with regional consultants and country leads to deliver data-driven sourcing strategies, maintain CRM hygiene, and ensure strong candidate engagement across APAC markets.

Qualifications

• Experience in HR, recruitment sourcing or research.
• Experience targeting APAC markets is a plus.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute data-driven sourcing using Boolean and LinkedIn Recruiter.
• Map competitors and market talent pools in APAC.
• Maintain a warm talent pipeline for niche roles.
• Screen, qualify, and assess candidate fit against client briefs.
• Pitch opportunities and articulate EVP to candidates.
• Brief and prepare candidates through assessment stages.
• Coordinate with regional teams to adapt sourcing directions.
• Ensure CRM data integrity and up-to-date records.

Talent Advisor (Researcher) - APAC

Location: Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur Office)

As a Talent Advisor, you will act as a core Recruitment Researcher supporting multiple high-profile cross-border searches across APAC markets. This is a delivery-focused, candidate- strategic sourcing role. You will partner closely with our regional recruitment consultants and country leads to map target industries, uncover hidden talent, and build a world-class candidate pipeline for a selective pool of clients.

Responsibilities

• Execute data-driven sourcing strategy: Utilize advanced search methodologies (Boolean logic, X-ray searching, LinkedIn Recruiter) to identify top-tier passive candidates across APAC.
• Competitor & Market Mapping: Proactively map out target organizations, organograms, and industry talent pools to uncover market trends and leading professionals.
• Pipeline Management: Maintain and build a warm, highly engaged pipeline of pre-vetted talent for niche, recurring, or executive-level roles.
• Screening & Assessment: Conduct initial headhunting reaches, qualify candidate experience against specific client briefs, and assess cultural and strategic fit.
• Pitching Opportunities: Act as a brand ambassador for Links International and our clients, accurately articulating employee value propositions to secure candidate interest.
• Briefing & Preparation: Assist candidates through the initial stages of the assessment process, ensuring their profile documentation is high quality.
• Consultant Partnerships: Align daily with regional recruitment teams (e.g., Hong Kong, and Singapore) to adapt sourcing directions based on immediate client feedback.
• CRM Integrity: Track all research activity accurately within the internal database, ensuring candidate tracking systems remain clean, compliant, and up-to-date.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 0-3 years of experience in HR, recruitment sourcing, talent search, or a research environment. Experience targeting regional APAC markets is highly advantageous.
• Technical Skills: Use of LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, internal applicant tracking systems (ATS), and deep web sourcing methodologies.
• Language Proficiency: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills to effectively engage regional teams and high-caliber corporate candidates. Additional regional language skills are a plus.
• Mindset: High levels of persistence, curiosity, and a commercial mindset. You enjoy the challenge of finding a needle in a haystack and managing multiple projects concurrently.
• Able to work in fast paced environment
• Previous sales / telemarketing / customer service experience would be a plus
