You will own strategic workforce planning, employer branding, and talent analytics, combining hands‑on delivery with strategic leadership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, business, psychology or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of talent acquisition experience, with APAC exposure.
  • Native Mandarin: speaking and writing is a must.
  • Proven ability to hire across diverse markets within a multinational.
  • Experience with ATS and recruitment analytics is preferred.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Talent Acquisition Manager, APAC to lead recruitment across the Asia Pacific region. Based in Kuala Lumpur and reporting directly to the HR Director APAC, this role will be responsible for attracting exceptional talent, building future talent pipelines, and partnering with business leaders to deliver hiring strategies that support organizational growth and capability building.

This role combines strategic workforce planning, employer branding, talent intelligence, and hands‑on recruitment delivery. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring we attract, assess, and hire talent aligned with our business ambitions, growth agenda, and company values.

Native in mandarin, speaking and writing is a must.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Talent Acquisition
  • Develop and execute the APAC talent acquisition strategy aligned with business priorities and workforce plans.
  • Partner with HR and business leaders to anticipate current and future hiring needs across multiple markets.
  • Translate business objectives into effective sourcing and recruitment solutions.
  • Provide talent market intelligence, competitor insights, and hiring recommendations to senior stakeholders.
End‑to‑End Recruitment
  • Lead full‑cycle recruitment across APAC for professional, managerial, and leadership positions.
  • Drive proactive sourcing strategies utilizing direct sourcing, talent mapping, referrals, social recruiting, and external partnerships.
  • Ensure an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
  • Manage offer negotiations and support onboarding activities in partnership with local HR teams.
  • Build and maintain strong external talent pipelines for critical and future‑focused capabilities.
  • Strengthen LIPTON Teas & Infusions' employer brand across APAC through targeted attraction initiatives.
  • Partner with Marketing, Communications, and HR teams to promote the company as an employer of choice.
  • Leverage social media, professional networks, and industry events to enhance market visibility and candidate engagement.
Stakeholder Management & Business Partnership
  • Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers and regional leadership teams.
  • Coach stakeholders on recruitment best practices, assessment methodologies, and inclusive hiring practices.
  • Influence hiring decisions through data‑driven insights and talent market expertise.
  • Collaborate closely with country HR teams to ensure consistency and effectiveness across recruitment processes.
Recruitment Excellence & Analytics
  • Monitor recruitment performance metrics including time‑to‑fill, quality of hire, offer acceptance rate, and candidate experience.
  • Drive continuous improvement and simplify recruitment processes across APAC.
  • Ensure compliance with local labour laws, data privacy requirements, and company policies.
  • Manage relationships with recruitment agencies and external search partners to maximise value and performance.
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
  • Champion inclusive hiring practices and diverse candidate pipelines.
  • Embed fairness, objectivity, and consistency throughout the assessment and selection process.
  • Support organisational diversity ambitions through targeted attraction and talent sourcing strategies.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of talent acquisition and recruitment experience, including regional APAC responsibility.
  • Native in mandarin, speaking and writing is a must.
  • Proven experience hiring across diverse markets and functions within a multinational organisation.
  • Strong expertise in sourcing, talent mapping, interviewing, and assessment methodologies.
  • Experience partnering with senior leaders and influencing hiring decisions at all levels.
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), recruitment technologies, and talent analytics.
