Job summary

Celestica in Penang, Malaysia is seeking a proactive Talent Acquisition Intern to support recruitment activities and create digital content to boost employer branding. You will assist in end-to-end recruitment, screen resumes, coordinate interviews, and help onboard new hires.

This role combines HR operations with media design, giving you hands-on experience in talent attraction, social media content creation, and event support.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or in final semester in Bachelor/Master Degree in HR, Marketing, Communications or Business related field.
• Strong interest in recruitment, and employer branding.
• Basic design skills (Canva, Adobe or similar tools)
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks
• Creative mindset with willingness to learn and contribute ideas.
• Experience handling social media pages or content creation, video editing or photography skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in end to end recruitment activities for various functions.
• Screen resumes and support in shortlisting suitable candidates.
• Coordinate and schedule interviews with candidates and hiring managers.
• Maintain candidate records and update recruitment trackers.
• Support onboarding activities for new employees.
• Create visual content (posters, banners, social media assets) for hiring campaigns.
• Design recruitment materials such as job ads, brochures, and internal communication.
• Support photo/video editing for employer branding activities or events.
• Assist in managing social media posts related to talent attraction.
• Contribute creative ideas to improve company branding and recruitment visibility.
