Job summary

Sophic Automation Sdn Bhd is seeking a results-focused Recruitment Coordinator to support its growing HR function in Bayan Lepas, Penang. You will source candidates, manage end-to-end recruitment, and help new hires settle in during their first days.

You'll coordinate hiring documentation, maintain accurate employee records, and assist with events. Strong communication, organization, and a proactive attitude are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Human Resource Management or related field.
• Strong interest in recruitment, talent acquisition, and human resource management.
• Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with job boards, social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn and Jobstreet), and other recruitment channels is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), with the ability to learn new software and systems quickly.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with candidates and team members.
• A proactive, responsible, and adaptable attitude, with a willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Actively headhunt and build professional networks to proavtively source and attract candidates.
• Manage the full recruitment process for multiple open positions simultaneously.
• Prepare and submit all hiring documentation to the HR department for timely processing.
• Serve as a guide for new hires by assisting with orientation and helping them navigate their first few days in the company.
• Accurately enter, update, and maintain employee records in various HR systems and databases.
• Participate in event planning and logistics, including coordinating company events and managing arrangements for visiting customers or VIPs on an as-needed basis.
