Job summary

AMD in Penang, Malaysia, is seeking a System Test Engineering Manager to lead testing strategy for Datacenter Accelerated Computing products, focusing on manufacturing test solutions, automation, validation, and cross-functional program management.

You will help partners deliver AMD's datacenter GPUs, mentor engineers, and drive improvements in yield and cost through innovative test methods and Python-based tooling.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering; MS preferred.
• Experience with hardware and software design and validation.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders to improve yield.

Responsibilities

• Develop test strategy for new product features and qualification of test fixtures and equipment.
• Review and provide feedback for DFT in early design stages.
• Debug complex hardware and software issues during build phases.
• Define procedures for testing solutions used in manufacturing data center products.
• Contribute to automated diagnostic generation and validation infrastructure.
• Mentor junior engineers and influence others as a technical leader.
