Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Project Manager and engineers to implement system strategies.
• Manage control engineers and suppliers to meet milestones.
• Prepare QA documents and ensure quality delivery by team.
• Review detailed control system designs, drawings, and cabinet layouts.
• Prepare project documents including specifications, manuals and test plans.
• Assist in test specification and factory acceptance testing.
• Coordinate integration and commissioning at site with stakeholders.
• Provide training and presentations for customers.

Who you'll be working for

What requirements you'll need to be eligible

• Degree holder in Electrical or Controls or Software Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2yearsworking experience preferably inproject,related to industrial.
• Independent and able to work under pressure and tight schedules.
• GoodinEPLAN P8 andAutoCaddesign forswitch board, power cabinet, controlcabinetand field electrical & control installation compliancetoEN, IEC, ISO, AS/NZS, GB orotherinternationalstandard.
• Good in PLC Structured Text, Function Block, Data Block and Ladder programming (Beckhoff -TwinCat2 / TwinCat3, Siemens – STEP 7 / TIA).
• Experience with PLC controlsystems, SCADA,EtherCat/Profinet/ Profibus / TCPIP protocol, Variable Speed Drives, Safety Devices, Scanners and Control components.
• Project managementskill isan added advantage.
• Good analytical,communicationand presentation skills, both written and oral.
• Matured,self drivenand proactive.
• A team player with strong customer focused.
• Working experience in automated material handlingsystemis an added advantage but not essential.
• Proficiencyin English (oral & written).

What you'll be doing on the job

• Work with Project Manager,SystemDesign Engineer, Integration Manager, ControlEngineerand Software Engineer to ensure the overallsystemstrategies are implemented correctly to achieve performance criteria.
• Managing control engineers and suppliers in projects.
• Monitoringofproject schedule andensuredeliverymeetthe milestones.
• Preparation of quality assurance documents and ensure the Quality delivered by control engineers and suppliers.
• Preparation / review of detail controlsystemand safety design documents / layouts, schematicdrawingsand cabinet designs.
• Prepare and review of project documents includingSystemSpecification, Operation manual, Maintenance manual, Test cases, Acceptance document, and Subsystem/ equipment interface document
• Customize project specific controlsoftware materialhandlingsystem.
• Preparation / review of test specification, periodical quality assuranceinspectionand conduct factory acceptancetestfor sub-system/ equipment suppliers.
• Evaluation andselectionof potential material handling equipment, electrical and control components.
• Preparation / review of requirement specifications for procurement of material handling equipment, electrical and control components.
• Review of specification documents, detaileddrawingand control software from suppliers.
• Prepare and perform sub system commissioning at site, interface test with different interface party, Integration testing at site.
• Responsible for the support of selected activities directly towards the customer as well as participation in project meetings.
• Conduct training and perform assessment for customer training program.
• Chair meeting and hold professional presentations using PowerPoint.
• Coordinate the integration and overall design betweenSwisslogand sub-suppliers.
• Provide guidance to junior engineers and provide regular basis to superiors and stakeholders.
