Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field preferred.
• Relevant professional certifications are an advantage.

• Experience in Malaysia-based engineering environments is advantageous.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities required.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site System Engineer role based in Selangor, Malaysia. System Engineer will design, implement, and maintain control and OT systems, ensuring stability, performance, and security across customer and internal environments. Day-to-day responsibilities include configuring and program control systems, and resolving technical issues. The role involves troubleshooting hardware and software problems, providing technical support to clients, and documenting system configurations and procedures. The System Engineer will also collaborate with project teams to participate in system design, testing, commissioning, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Candidates should possess skills in Systems Engineering and Systems Design to plan, configure, and optimize complex technical environments.
• Candidates should possess skills in PLC programming (Siemens, Schneider Electric, ABB and others)
• Candidates should possess skills in Troubleshooting and Technical Support to diagnose, resolve, and prevent system issues efficiently.
• Candidates should be familiar with relevant operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux), networking fundamentals, and control or automation systems.
• Candidates should demonstrate strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Candidates should be able to work on-site, collaborate effectively in multi-disciplinary teams, and manage priorities in a project-based environment.
