Job summary

Foxconn Technology Group in Malaysia seeks a System Engineer to optimize highly automated production lines and support AB PLC-based controls. You will analyze equipment interactions, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with vendors to ensure reliable performance.

The role requires a degree or diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics or IT/CS with 5+ years in system engineering, plus strong problem-solving, discipline, and teamwork. ISO/RBA knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical/Electronics, Mechatronics, IT/Software or Diploma in related field with more than 5 years’ experience.
• Minimum 4 years working experience in System Engineering.
• Experience in AB PLC is a must.
• Experience with AB servo motors, AB drive, pneumatic, Omron PLC, sensors, electrical and automation system are advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support Process Engineers in various process related issues.
• Work with vendors & customers to ensure good performance.
• Provide guidance and training to the team.
• Ensure smooth startup of new equipment together with equipment vendors.
• Able to analyze and troubleshoot highly automated machines with detailed understanding of equipment, material and process interactions.
• Support production stabilization projects to achieve robust manufacturing.
• Able to cross support across all production lines.
• To ensure safety requirements are upheld when optimizing systems function on production lines.
• Respond to escalation from factory at all times.
• Ensure compliance to ISO9001/14001 and 27001 policies.
• Ensure compliance to RBA policies and standards.

• Ability to read and understand mechanical and pneumatic drawings include electronic/electrical schematics
