Job summary

LanceSoft, Inc. in Selangor, Malaysia is seeking a System Engineer to support enterprise backup and recovery solutions, troubleshoot issues, manage backup operations, and ensure system performance and reliability.

You will provide remote and on-site technical support to customers, document cases, and collaborate with Engineering and Product teams on complex issues. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in IT/CS and strong networking, backup, and troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS or related field.
• Strong networking and troubleshooting knowledge.
• Experience with backup and recovery concepts is required.
• Customer-facing technical support experience preferred.
• Enterprise IT support experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot backup, recovery, software, hardware, network & application issues.
• Provide remote and on-site technical support to customers.
• Monitor backup operations, disaster recovery & storage utilization.
• Perform troubleshooting, RCA and escalate product/software issues.
• Document technical cases, procedures and resolutions.
• Support product testing, labs and beta initiatives.
