Job summary

LanceSoft, Inc. in Selangor, Malaysia is seeking a System Engineer to support enterprise backup and recovery solutions, troubleshoot issues, manage backup operations, and ensure system performance and reliability.

You will provide remote and on-site technical support to customers, document cases, and collaborate with Engineering and Product teams on complex issues. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in IT/CS and strong networking, backup, and troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS or related field.
Strong networking and troubleshooting knowledge.
Experience with backup and recovery concepts is required.
Customer-facing technical support experience preferred.
Enterprise IT support experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot backup, recovery, software, hardware, network & application issues.
Provide remote and on-site technical support to customers.
Monitor backup operations, disaster recovery & storage utilization.
Perform troubleshooting, RCA and escalate product/software issues.
Document technical cases, procedures and resolutions.
Support product testing, labs and beta initiatives.
Collaborate with Engineering and Product teams on complex issues.
Provide customer support via phone, email and online platforms.
