Job summary

SCHEINEN Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a capable Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechatronics engineer for commissioning, migration projects, service and maintenance, testing, engineering, programming, and designing electrical or mechanical systems on site.

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply, as training will be provided. You will join a team of engineers, technicians and subcontractors to deliver projects while maintaining safety and quality on site.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechatronics or related field.

Responsibilities

• Perform corrective maintenance and servicing for electrical/electronic systems on site.
• Prepare shop drawings and project applications.
• Supervise field installations and cabling.
• Program HVAC controllers and fire/security panels as required.
• Maintain site documentation and quality assurance information.

To perform on new project’s Commissioning, Migration project’s Commissioning, Service & Maintenance, Testing, Engineering, Programming and Designing any type of electrical or mechanical equipment, systems and subsystems (including software where applicable) from simple to moderately complex in nature within Scheinen’s Portfolio inclusive of diagnosing and repairing equipment and systems (both hardware and software). To be able to work together as a team with other Engineers, Technicians and Subcontractors.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Corrective Maintenance Servicing for Firefighting Equipment.
• Prepare the shop drawings and application projects.
• Supervision of field installation and cabling.
• Determine on time equipment and accessory needs for implementation of Projects.
• Carry out design works, programming of HVAC controllers, Fire Panels, Access Control Panels.
• Prepare graphics and necessary programming works as per specifications.
• Ability to write a good service report.
• Development and maintenance of site-specific documentation and quality assurance information as instructed by the Technical Manager.
• Follow SCHEINEN’s SOPs, HSE and quality systems while delivering the periodic maintenance services as well as the execution of Projects.
• Achievement, measurement and reporting of performance indicators and site service objectives.

Qualifications:

• Must possess Degree in Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechatronics or other related Engineering field.
• Fresh graduates with hands-on skills (technical) are strongly encouraged to apply. Training will be provided.
• Supportive approach towards working on a project.
• Enthusiastic, encouraging and a team player.
• Moderate verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent IT literate. Able to use Microsoft Office.
