Job summary

Plexus Manufacturing Sdn Bhd in Penang is seeking a Windows Server Administrator with cloud experience to setup, administer, and maintain Windows/Linux servers, Citrix VDI, and related services across production and IT environments.

You will coordinate with global IT, support DevOps with Kubernetes, ServiceNow tickets, and ensure security, uptime, and SLA achievement while collaborating with stakeholders and working flexible hours when needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Sciences, Information Technology or directly related fields.
• At least 3years of hands-on experience as a Windows Server Administrator or Cloud platform.
• Experience with cloud platforms is highly preferred
• Professional certification in Windows Server or Cloud platform is a plus.
• Excellent communication, organizational, time management and problem-solving skills.
• Strong sense of urgency, performance-minded, and able to work under time constraints.
• Excellent customer service skills, including direct interaction with users, assertiveness and perseverance to follow issues to closure.
• Positive attitude and eager to learn.
• Good organization skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks accordingly in a fast paced changing environment.
• Must demonstrate ability to work independently, as well as within teams as required.

Responsibilities

• Setup, administer, and maintain a running Server Windows/Linux operating system, Citrix VDI servers,services, and application processes.
• Administer and support the cloud environment.
• Support cloud and on-premises integration, including deployment, monitoring, and optimization of resources.
• Provide holistic solutions to improve business functions and ensure the availability, integrity and security of company data.
• Resolve incident/task tickets and manage knowledge base articles on the ServiceNow platform
• Ensure compliance with Corporate IT Audit, Security policy, and Standards
• Proactively monitor systems to ensure established SLA is met and anticipate growth and plan system upgrade opportunities.
• Implement and deploy physical and/or virtual desktop environments for production, automation, and other functional areas
• Coordinate with stakeholders for deployment and troubleshooting of end client solutions
• Ensures stakeholder satisfaction by resolving operational issues regarding the area of expertise and assignments based on company policies and procedures.
• Partner and collaborate with members of global IT to deploy technologies that support business requirements.
• Lead cross-functional teams to resolve issues and manage assigned projects from time to time
• May occasionally need to support activities outside of normal working hours when necessary.
