Job summary

Plexus Manufacturing Sdn Bhd in Penang is seeking a planning professional to perform order processing, forecast loading and master production scheduling to align with customer requirements.

You will coordinate with engineering, QA and other departments to ensure on-time shipments, manage inventory and release work orders while maintaining production priorities. Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin and English is required.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree.
• Required languages: Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, English; Mandarin proficiency preferred.
• At least 2-4 years of working experience in the related field.

Responsibilities

• Perform order processing and forecast loading.
• Verify accuracy of purchase orders details before SO entry.
• Work with cross-departments to fulfill customer requirements.
• Prepare Master Production Schedule and coordinate with related departments to meet targets.
• Release and maintenance of Work Orders and commit shipments against required dates.
• Ensure production follows MPS/priority and close WO on time.
• Collaborate to determine in-house materials and meet the production plan.
• Advise customers on committed ship dates and ensure on-time delivery.
• Manage demand exceptions, inventory and supply.
• Evaluate inventory turns and implement inventory controls.
• Work with Engineering for ECN and deviations, and QA on quality issues affecting planning.
• Reporting of E&O and follow-through for closure.
• Any additional duties as assigned by Program Manager.

Job description

Perform order processing and forecast loading.

Verify accuracy of purchase orders details to ensure the part number, pricing, MOQ, ship mode and request ship date are correct before SO entry.

Work with cross-departments to fulfill customer’s requirements.

Prepare Master Production Schedule, optimizing the use of available resources and coordinate with related departments to ensure product, volume and shipment are meeting targeted levels.

Release and Maintenance of Work Orders in system based on Customers’ Purchase Order Requirements, and commit shipments against required dates.

Ensure Production follow strictly to the MPS / Priority, and to close WO within the targeted time line.

Collaborate across departments to determine materials in house requirements and meeting the production plan effectively.

Advise customer on committed ship dates and ensure on time delivery.

Manage demand exceptions, inventory and supply.

Evaluating inventory turns performance and implementing inventory controls, such as materials pull and push strategies based on planning analysis.

Work with Engineering for ECN and deviations, as well as QA on quality issue that affects production planning.

Reporting of E&O and follow through for closure.

Any additional duties as assigned by Program Manager.
