D.S.C ENGINEERING SDN. BHD. is seeking a capable System, Control and Instrumentation Engineer to design, integrate, and troubleshoot industrial automation systems across our control networks and field instruments.

You will lead PLC programming, network configuration, loop testing, calibration and documentation, while reading schematics and ensuring SOP-compliant technical reporting. A hands-on, collaborative team player is essential in Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Instrumentation Engineering.
• 2–4 years of hands‑on experience in system integration and applications.
• At least 2–4 years of practical experience with Siemens TIA Portal.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLC control logic using Siemens TIA Portal/Step 7.

System, Control and Instrumentation Engineer

About the role D.S.C ENGINEERING SDN. BHD. is seeking a skilled and hands‑on System, Control and Instrumentation Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will play a critical part in designing, integrating, and troubleshooting industrial automation systems, ensuring optimal performance across our control networks and field instruments.

Key Responsibilities

PLC Programming: Develop, modify, and troubleshoot PLC control logic using Siemens TIA Portal / Step 7.

Networks & Communications: Configure and troubleshoot industrial communication protocols, including Ethernet, Modbus RTU, and Modbus TCP.

Control & Instrumentation: Manage field instrumentation setups, loop testing, calibration, and signal troubleshooting (temperature, pressure, flow sensors, and actuators). Execute PLC I/O checks, signal troubleshooting, and control wiring rectifications.

Electrical & Schematics: Read and interpret electrical schematics, control panel layouts, and P&ID diagrams.

Documentation: Prepare technical reports, accurate I/O lists, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Required Criteria

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Instrumentation Engineering.

Experience: Minimum 2–4 years of hands‑on experience in system integration and applications.

Software Expertise: At least 2–4 years of dedicated, practical experience with Siemens TIA Portal.

Technical Skills: Proven ability to configure Ethernet and Modbus networks, trace control cables, and execute rigorous loop checks.

Communication: Strong technical writing skills for creating structured engineering documentation and commissioning reports.
