Job summary

HAPPY FISH SWIM SCHOOL SDN. BHD. in Johor Bahru is seeking energetic Swim Coaches to help babies, toddlers and children gain water confidence and essential life skills in a warm indoor facility.

You will deliver safe lessons, engage with parents on progress, and contribute to a fun, team-focused environment. Fresh graduates are welcome and weekend availability is a plus.

Qualifications

• Energetic, warm, and patient with young children.
• Able to swim comfortably in at least one standard stroke.
• Good command of English; Mandarin or Bahasa Malaysia is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, engaging swim lessons for babies, toddlers and children.
• Provide regular updates to parents on progress and milestones.
• Capture underwater videos of milestone students (training provided).
• Perform routine pool maintenance and uphold hygiene standards.
• Maintain constant focus on pool safety and student well-being.

About the Role
We are looking for energetic, warm, and patient individuals who love working with young children to join our team at Mount Austin, Johor . As a Swim Coach, you won't just teach swimming—you’ll build water confidence, essential life skills, and fun memories for infants, toddlers, and young kids.

What You’ll Be Doing

Class Delivery: Conduct safe, engaging, and fun swim lessons for babies, toddlers, and children following our structured curriculum.

Parent Engagement: Provide friendly, regular updates to parents regarding their child’s progress and milestone achievements.

Student Memories: Capture simple, high-quality underwater videos of milestone students (training provided).

Pool Care & Safety: Conduct routine daily pool maintenance (checking water balance, basic filter backwashing) to maintain top-tier hygiene standards.

Safety First: Maintain active vigil over pool safety and student well-being at all times.

Who We Are Looking For

Passionate About Kids: You genuinely enjoy interacting with babies, toddlers, and young children.

Swim Ability: Able to swim comfortably in at least one standard stroke.

Communication Skills: Good command of English. Ability to converse in Mandarin or Bahasa Malaysia is a bonus.

Schedule Flexibility: Able to work on weekends (Fridays to Sundays are our peak operating days; your 2 days off will fall on weekdays).
