Job summary

GAMUDA in Malaysia is seeking a Sustainability Manager to develop, implement, and manage the organization's sustainability strategies and programs.

The role involves setting goals, conducting assessments, driving initiatives to reduce the environmental footprint, engaging with stakeholders, and reporting on performance using KPIs, while collaborating with multiple departments to embed sustainability into operations and culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
• LEED Accredited Professional certification preferred.
• Certified Sustainability Professional designation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive sustainability strategy that aligns with the organization's objectives.
• Conduct sustainability assessments to identify environmental, social, and economic impacts and opportunities.
• Develop and implement initiatives to reduce environmental footprint, including energy efficiency, waste reduction, water conservation, and emissions reductions.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to promote sustainability awareness and collaboration.
• Monitor and report on sustainability performance using KPIs and metrics.
